I hope your season is off to a good and healthy start! Thank you for allowing me the time to do some extra research for finding the right "pay app" for our chapter and our needs. Most of this will be discussed during tonight's chapter meeting, but I know so many of you are anxious to pay your dues and looking for the right option to fit your banking needs, I wanted to get this out ahead of the meeting.

The PayPal account is now CLOSED. The chapter will not be using PayPal,Cashap, or Venmo, however, I have set up the option to accept Zelle payments. Zelle is quick, convenient, free and allows for safe and fast bank-to-bank transfers. Most banks now offer this flexibility. Neither members or the treasurer will need to disclose sensitive banking info to make or receive these payments and we don't have to worry about fees. 

If you would like to pay your dues via Zelle, below I have broken down some steps to follow, information from the Zelle website, as well as other ways/information about paying chapter dues. As a reminder, dues are due on Sept. 22 (6th meeting). Any dues paid after the due date will be assessed a $10 late fee. I suggest you save this email for future reference if you plan on using Zelle to pay dues. The steps below may vary depending on your bank and whether you're using an app or the website. When all else fails, cash is king and checks are still accepted!

• PayPal Account: has been cancelled/closed
• Zelle Account: The Chapter is now set up to receive funds via Zelle. Members who chose to utilize this option to pay dues may do so by entering my email address into the Zelle app or via their personal banking website/app. My email address is; bobbiejobelus55@gmail.com.   • You can download your personal bank app and/or the Zelle app on your mobile device, OR from the banking website, select or look for "make a payment/transfer/send money, select the purple "Z" logo for Zelle, enter my email address bobbiejobelus55@gmail.com, (if it asks for my name, please enter Roberta Belus), enter dollar amount, enter a memo "dues" for example, and review/confirm. Our bank is First National Bank of PA if you are asked what bank. 
• Please text/call/email me if you do use Zelle so I know to keep an eye out for your payment and can double check it was received*****
• Note: I typically make bank runs on Saturday mornings, so keep in mind checks may be held for a few days to a week depending on my schedule and bank hours. 
• Ways to pay dues; in person at a meeting or if we’re working a game together, mail to my home address or do a mailbox drop. Cash or check is preferred. My address is 1734 Tyler St. Aliquippa, PA 15001. If any issues with paying dues, please contact me.

Hi everybody, 

As you may recall, chapter dues are now $50 and this goes into effect for the 2026 season. Please budget accordingly, as I know things are tight for all of us. Many of you were proactive in paying your dues at the first meeting, which I greatly appreciate. For the time being, I WILL NOT be accepting any dues payment or any other payments/fees via our PayPal account. The account is once again charging random fees. Rather than chase people down for small amounts of money and to avoid any other such fees, and troubles, I am not taking PayPal at this time, until I can come up with a solution to avoid this, or perhaps, some other option moving forward. I will have more information during our business meeting next week. Cash and check are still preferred and we have until the sixth meeting (Sept. 22) until dues are due. Dues can be paid in person at a meeting, via mail to my home address, a mailbox drop, or you can pay dues if we are working a game together as alternatives. I know the PayPal is convenient for many of you, rest assured I will work on a solution. Thanks for your patience in the interim. Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
